These knives are EXTREMELY hard to find and very rare. The conversion process is unbelievable, time consuming and complicated. I visited the shop and was amazed at the incredible complicated and precise custom machined jigs, CNC machines and other proprietary process that I've promised not to divulge for obvious reasons. I was thoroughly impressed and somewhat taken aback by what must have been HUNDREDS of hours of research and development to say nothing of the trial and error that has gone into converting these knives.

As I said these Case Copperlocks, Mini Copperlocks and Cheetah automatic switchblade double action conversion knives are very rare and hard to come by. Owning a Case automatic switchblade knife qualifies you for bragging rights among in the know knife collectors. They ARE expensive. There was a time I thought that the expense was related more to the rarity of the item rather than reflecting the actual costs involved but I'm here to tell you that after seeing everything that has gone into making these meticulously crafted beauties, they are quite a DEAL!!! Anybody that knows what the time of a master tool and die maker and shop time on several $150,000 PLUS pieces of equipment using custom made jigs and fixtures costs can appreciate why these Case double action automatic switchblade knives are the price they are and a bargain at that.
